Wall To Wall Carpets

I have hardwood flooring in my home but some rooms call for wall to wall carpets. My daughter’s nursery is one of those rooms. I originally loved the wood floors thoroughout the entire home but I just didn’t feel comfortable with the hard wood flooring in my daughter’s room. The nursery called for wall to wall carpets but I just needed to figure out which one to choose.

First of all the material had to be durable and it had to be light in color. Oh yes, it had to be stain-resistant as well. And soft. There were so many demands that I made on the wall to wall carpets that choosing the right type seemed as if it would be a breeze. It was not a breeze. It was more like a hurricane.

Since the nursery is so small, I decided that we could explore carpet remnants as an option for the wall to wall carpets that we would explore. This is a money-saving idea but it is not always the best option for anyone who is picky about wall to wall carpets. Evidentially, I am picky.

The carpet remnants seemed to be worn out already. I knew that they were brand new but they seemed to be shedding and some of the material was pulling away from the stitching. Normally, this would not really bother me but I was considering putting these wall to wall carpets in a room occupied by a child who puts everything in her mouth besides food. Shredded material posed too much of a choking hazard.

Berber wall to wall carpets are safe and durable but they are not always the softest option. They are commercial quality but I just couldn’t see my little one having fun on a Berber rug. I wanted something touchable. My husband suggested that I add a shag rug to one of the wall to wall carpets offered in the Berber style but we might as well have just kept the hardwood floors and added a throw rug on that.

Fortunately, I found wall to wall carpets that offered durability, attractiveness and softness all in one. They were also extremely easy to install. These wall to wall carpets come in pre-cut squares that you put into place like floor tiles.

You can mix and match colors and patterns if you like. And if there is a stain that is impossible to remove, you simple take out that square and replace it with another. I love the pre-cut square wall to wall carpets almost as much as I love my hardwood floors.
